Immacula (Constant) Pierre, 73, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2018. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Destouches Rosesca Constant and Felicie Pierre-Louis. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1977 with her husband Joe, first settling in Stillwater, Oklahoma. That is where she obtained her first job in America, which she was very proud of. Immacula worked as a CNA for many years, working at Brockton Ridge and then Catholic Charities for 15 years until retiring. Immacula was a talented cook, and was famous for her Kremas and Pikliz. She was an herbalist and enjoyed gardening. A fashionista, she was a gifted seamstress and embroiderer, having made her children’s clothing for many years. She was a member of Brockton Tabernacle. Caring and kind to everyone around her, she doted on her grandchildren, her greatest joy in life. Immacula was the beloved wife of Joseph N. Pierre for 52 years; loving mother of Muriel P. Joseph and her husband Garry Joseph , Wanie-Joe Pierre, Jones W. Pierre, and Jomie P. Maule and her husband Darrell Maule, all of Brockton; devoted Mama of Anaika Joseph, Tobey Joseph, Murlie Joseph, Jorrelin Maule, Jahnasia Maule, and Sammuel Maule; dear sister of Bernadette Pierre-Louis, Jacqueline Constant, Lutha Pierre-Louis, Marie-Rose Pierre-Louis, Jocelyne Constant, Ketly Constant, Dayouse Constant, Jacqueline Senat, Marlene Senat, and Madia Senat and their families; sister-in-law of Jean-Baptiste Pierre, Irmacula Pierre, and Andrémene Pierre and their families. Immacula also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. All are welcome to calling hours Friday, Sept. 14th from 6-9 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, followed by a reception at Brockton Tabernacle, 690 North Main St., funeral service Saturday, Sept. 15th at 9 a.m. in Brockton Tabernacle, 690 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Central Cemetery, 327 North St., Randolph. Flowers are welcome and would be appreciated by Immacula’s family.
