Frances A. (Cantillo) MacFarland

Frances A. (Cantillo) MacFarland, 82, of Brockton since 1971, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on December 11, 2018. A native of Roxbury, she had worked as a data entry clerk for Arbella Insurance for many years. Devoted to her family, she enjoyed baking and playing bingo. Frances was the beloved wife of Donald J. MacFarland for 53 years; loving mother of Dennis MacFarland (and Christine) of New Bedford, Tami-Ann MacFarland (and Carolyn Cronin) of Brockton, and the late Karen Murphy; mother-in-law of Charles “Chet” Murphy of Hingham; grandmother of R.J. MacLaughlin (and Nicole) of Abington; great-grandmother of Alex Rosati and Gabriella MacLaughlin; sister of Florence Colley, Marion Pulsinelli, and the late Rose Suarez, Dominic Cantillo, Robert Cantillo, and Theresa Tortora; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Friday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Saturday at 9 a.m., funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook.
