Elizabeth A. “Betty” Hendrick, 91, a lifelong resident of Brockton and almost 10-year resident of Emmanuel House, passed away peacefully Oct. 31, 2017. A daughter of the late Arthur and Grace (Brennan) Hendrick, she graduated from Brockton High School in 1944 and Williams Business School. For her entire career Betty was a secretary for the Brockton Highway Department. She was a communicant and 20th Century Club member at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. Betty was an excellent and avid league bowler. She was the beloved sister of Barbara Hugus of Felton, CA and the late Eleanor Bulman, Grace Presswood and Arthur Hendrick Jr.; and a loving aunt and great-aunt of many. All are welcome to calling hours Friday 4-6 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, her funeral Saturday at 9 a.m. from Waitt Funeral Home, funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church and burial at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to your favorite charity.
