Edward P. “Skip” Elliot, 73, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully at home May 1, 2017. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Mary and Charles Elliot.  He was a veteran of U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Skip worked in home improvement and was a lifelong member of The Protectors Club of Brockton. He is survived by Linda Patterson his companion of 35 years and their daughter Audra, and grandchildren, Steven, Jada, Alana, Izabelle and Skyla. He was the brother of Donna Holland of FL, Linda Freeman and her husband Paul of Bridgewater, Carol McCarthy and her husband Richard of W. Bridgewater, Walter Elliot and his wife Susan of Lakeville, Karen Elliot of Brockton, Eileen Lyons and her husband John of FL and the late Charles and William Elliot. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Sunday 2-5 p.m. with 4:30 p.m. closing prayers in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal.
