Edith Pierre

Edith Pierre, 74, of Brockton, passed away on February 25, 2019. Born in Plaisance, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Dieu Juste Pierre and Antonia Borno. Edith immigrated to the U.S. in 2003. Edith was the beloved mother of Carline P. Hilaire and her husband Raoul R. Hilaire of Brockton, Livie Gelin of Malden, Jean Carly Vincent, Jean Vernet Pierre, Ephaise Daris and Jean Francois Pierre Jr., all of Haiti; loving grandmother of Carla Blain, Biankar Vincent, Christopher Vincent, Sarah Durant, Kyle Myrtil, Courtney Myrtil, Rayan Hilaire, Tyler Hilaire, Edson Hilaire, Tatiana Hilaire and Dawson Daris; great-grandmother of Marco P. Landim Jr., Talia R. Hilaire, Djyno M. Pierre and Phoenix A. Rice; and an aunt of  Marie Nicole Présumé, Naomie Alexis, Julie Alexis, Samy Alexis, Sophia Alexis, Dannielle Alexis, Harald Germana, Harold Jean Baptiste and Ruth Paul. All are welcome to calling hours Friday, March 15th from 6-9 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral service Saturday, March 16th at 9 a.m. in Pentecostal Church of God, 291 Main St., Brockton, with viewing beginning at 8 a.m. in the church. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
