Beverly A. (Russell) Bifano, 74, of Brockton, died Dec. 3, 2017. Native of Brockton, a daughter of the late Vinton and Victoria (Price) Russell, she was a teacher by profession all over the U.S., including Silver Lake Regional High School in Kingston, Dwight School in Manhattan, New York, Northeastern Catholic Jr. High School in Rochester, New York, St. Joseph School in Petersburg, Virginia, as well as in Allen, Texas and Chicago, Illinois. Beverly was a member of the American Rose Society. She was caring and generous and will be missed by all who knew her. Wife of the late Charles Bifano, she was the sister of Anne Lockyer, aunt of Michael Lockyer and his family, and the late Anne Noble and her family; sister-in-law of Maryann and Jorge Fernandez of Swansea, Illinois; and the best friend of Mary Ann O’Connell. Following cremation, all are welcome to her memorial Mass Monday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 87 North Main St. Avon and burial at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
