Arnold J. Foster, 90, of Brockton, passed away September 27, 2017. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He had worked for Armstrong World Industries for many years until his retirement and was a member of United Methodist Church. Arnold was the beloved husband of Ruth L. (Barnard) Foster; loving father of Steven Foster of Brockton, John Wayne Foster of Weymouth, Brian Foster (and Donna) of Taunton, Diane Flansburg (and Paul) of Lakeville, and the late Michael J. Foster; grandfather and great-grandfather of many; brother of Patricia Hopkins (and William) of Wareham, Barbara Dishian of Mansfield, and the late Geraldine, Myra, William, Kenneth and Elmer Foster; brother in law of Linda Foster of Brockton; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Fri., Oct. 6th from 4-6 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral service Sat., Oct. 7th at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
