Alirio R. Ferreira

Alirio R. Ferreira, 64, of Brockton, died Jan. 11, 2019. Native of Aveiro, Portugal, he was a son of the late Jose L. and Custodia R. Ferreira.  Alirio was a retired union floorlayer. He was the father of Elisabete, Carina, Alirio Jr. and the late Patrick; grandfather of Jessica, Patrick, Alick, Nick and Ryan; brother of Jose (Ze), Lurdes, Joao, Antonio, Manuel, Luis, Rosita, Celestino (Tino) and the late Americo Ferreira. Following cremation, all are welcome to calling hours Thursday, January 17th from 5 to 7 p.m. with a closing prayer service at 7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Private committal will be held in Portugal. Those wishing in lieu of flowers may contribute to his family here to help them with expenses.
