Aldona V. (Alexandrovich) Martinkus

Aldona V. “Donna” (Alexandrovich) Martinkus, 97, of Stoughton, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2018. She had worked at the VA Medical Center in Brockton for 25 years, retiring as ward supervisor, and also volunteered at the Goddard Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center for many years. An avid walker, she enjoyed bowling, reading and arts and crafts. Donna was the widow of John S. Martinkus; beloved mother of Jeanette Merion (and Richard) of West Chester, PA, Roger Martinkus (and Theresa) of Fall River, and John A. Martinkus (and Donna) of N. Attleboro; dear grandmother and great-grandmother of many; sister of the late Phyllis Tumas, John Alexander and Anthony Alexandrovich; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews; along with many dear friends. All are welcome to calling hours Friday 4-7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Saturday at 8:45 a.m., funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton and burial at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
