Patricia A. (Murphy) Aqui

Patricia A. (Murphy) Aqui, 74, of Brockton, passed away on March 28, 2024. Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Robert William Murphy II and Anna Marie (Just) Murphy. Patricia worked for Sears, Crossmark, Hills, and Diesel Direct, as an account manager before retirement. She was a foster parent for many years, volunteered at food pantries, and gave her time at a greyhound rescue nonprofit thrift store in Natick for several years. At home her green thumb was evident with her indoor garden of plants including orchids, ferns and spider plants. 

Patricia was the wife of the late James A. Aqui; beloved mother of Peter R. Aqui (and Lisa Caban); loving grandmother of Kalani Q. Aqui, Alexis K. Hebert, Timothy Hebert, and the late Ashley Caban; great-grandmother of Melanie Hebert; one of 10 she was the sister of Robert Murphy III of Natick, Stephen Murphy (and Christine) of Medfield, Denise Murphy of CA, Ann Parawan (and Linton) of Raynham, Joseph Murphy (and Sharon) of Winchendon, Brian Murphy (and the late Debb) of Wrentham, Mary Docekal (and Richard) of Fitchburg, Cathy Marston (and Tom) of Attleboro and Maureen Tyler (and Michael) of Attleboro; an aunt of many nieces and nephews; and a close friend of Steve Norris.

Services will be held privately but all are welcome to join the family for a celebration of life on Saturday, April 13th at the VFW Brockton, 283 N. Quincy St. from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the March of Dimes/March for Babies.
