Susan E. Weibel-Yearwood, 68, of Oak Bluffs, MA passed away May 7, 2016 surrounded by her family. Native of Nashua, NH she graduated from Mt. Auburn Nursing School in Cambridge MA. She raised her family in Boulder CO where she worked as a registered nurse at BCH for over 30 years before retiring to Martha's Vineyard where she was a member of St. Andrew's Church in Edgartown MA; she loved singing in the church choir. Susan was most dedicated to her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years William “Al” Yearwood Jr., devoted mother to Stephanie Yearwood (and Daren Brown) of Boulder CO, Elaine Lapotosky (and Terrence) of PA, and Olympia Yearwood (and dog twinkle toes) of Oak Bluffs, and doting grandmother to Darius, Caleb, Laurel, Lucia, Ava, dear sister of Frank Weibel (and Pearlie) of San Diego, CA, and an amazing aunt, friend and second mother to many; daughter of the late Jeannette and Frank Weibel and sister of the late David Weibel, all of Nashua NH. Following cremation, all are welcome to gather Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m. for an 11 a.m. memorial service in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton MA. and then a Memorial Mass on Thursday, May 19 at 2 p.m. in St. Andrew Episcopal Church, 34 North Summer St. Edgartown. In lieu of flowers please send a note to Dad with a memory of Mom to PO BOX 3343, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557 or donate to Colorado Nurses Foundation, PO Box P.O.
