Sandra Lee (Pierce) Brown, 60, of Whitman, a native of Abington, passed away April 27, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Brown for 38 years, loving mother to Christina M. Brown and dear sister to Kimberly A. Pierce, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mannette (Rehfield) Pierce. Sandy was a graduate of Abington High School and Aquinas Jr. College and was a former Medical Staff Secretary at South Shore Hospital and Executive Assistant at Stonehill College. Sandy spent her summers growing up as a member of the Wessagusset Yacht Club in Weymouth, where she loved boating, swimming, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Sandy was the former President of the Black Dress Society. She enjoyed fashion, consignment shopping, crafting, decorating, trips to the ocean and dancing to Dale and the Duds and Little Paul. Sandy was incredibly caring, thoughtful and loving to her friends and people she met along the way. Following cremation, all are welcome to calling hours Thursday, May 5th from 5-8 p.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
