Robert A. Thibeault, 86, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died January 27, 2016. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Robert worked for the City of Brockton for over 35 years, with 8 of them for the Department of Public Works, and retiring as Captain in the Fire Department. He enjoyed bowling at the War Memorial. Robert was the beloved husband of Lucia G. (Casieri) Thibeault for 63 years; loving father of Robert F. Thibeault, BPD retired and his wife Michele of Brockton, Thomas N. Thibeault and his wife Gail of Halifax and the late Mary Ann Thibeault; devoted grandfather of 8; and a great-grandfather of 8. Robert was one of 6 siblings and leaves many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Monday, Feb. 1st from 4-7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral service Tuesday, Feb. 2nd at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
