Raymond F. Stetson, 81, of Avon, died Nov. 24, 2015. After employment at Avon Sole, he later retired from the Town of Avon DPW. Ray was an active life member of Avon Fish and Game, and was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and hunter. He was the husband of June L. (Fitts) Stetson for 59 years; father of Fred Stetson and Jean Polson; grandfather of Jenifer Polson; brother of Jeannette Loveday, all of Avon. All are welcome to calling hours Saturday 2-4 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Cremation and private committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Avon Fish and Game Association.
