Leonie Turnier, 96, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2017. Born in Jacmel, Haiti, Leonie immigrated to Montreal in 1974, where she lived many vibrant years, before moving to Brockton in 2005 to be in the great care of her daughter. She taught bible study for many years and was devoted to her grandchildren, helping to raise all of them. Leonie was the beloved mother of Eric Lahens of Montreal, Gislene Lahens of Brockton, Rosenie Estriplet of Montreal and Dr. Herby Estriplet of Mexico; and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother of many. All are welcome to calling hours Saturday, October 14th from 8:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a 10:30 a.m. service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Burial to follow at Melrose Cemetery.
