Laurie A. (Gureckis) Flamos, 47, of West Bridgewater, passed away on February 16, 2017. She was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School and later owned a nail salon Just Tips & Toes. A loyal friend to many, Laurie was amazingly thoughtful and generous to everyone she met. She had enjoyed horseback riding, traveling to Florida and shopping. Laurie was the beloved daughter of Alexander and Carol (Handy) Gureckis of W. Bridgewater; loving mother of Steven, Zoe and Alex Flamos; sister of Paul Gureckis of W. Bridgewater, Peter Gureckis of Florida, David Gureckis and his wife Jen of Easton, and the late Alexander Gureckis; fiancée of Paul Denton; dear aunt of Juliana, Erik, Anna, Heather and Charlie Gureckis; she also leaves Paul’s children Shawna and James Denton and many dear friends. All are welcome to calling hours Monday 3-6 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal.
