Katherine J. “Katie” Brehm, 37, of Canton, passed away suddenly on July 15, 2017. As a youth, Katie was a paper girl for the Patriot Ledger. She was an avid N.E. Patriots fan and enjoyed skiing and roller-skating. A published poet, she loved writing, art, music, and learning new things. She had worked as an aide at Mass. Hospital School, and as a service rep. for TecMar. Katie was the loving mother of Anthony D. Soares; beloved daughter of Leo and Lorraine (Genchauski) Brehm of Canton; sister of Leo G. Brehm and his wife Tanya of Medfield, and Elizabeth A. Gray of Canton; and an aunt of Henry and Anna Brehm, and Kassidy, Richard, Emily and Julia Gray. All are welcome to her Memorial Mass on Wednesday, July 26 at 10 a.m. in St. Gerard Magella Church, 1860 Washington St. Canton. (Calling hours respectfully omitted.) In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to a fund for Anthony her son, c/o “Leo F. Brehm”.
