Joseph F. Hart, 91, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully April 11, 2017 under hospice care. Native of South Boston, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. By trade he was an electrical lineman and worked for Boston Edison and the M.B.T.A. for many years. Joe was a member of Avon V.F.W. Post 8892 and enjoyed playing the organ. Joe was the devoted husband of the late Phyllis (Pelletier) Hart for 50 years; beloved father of Elaine Mills of Brockton, Joseph S. Hart of Middleboro, Paula Foley of Halifax, Steven Hart of Middleboro, Linda Bertoni (and Joseph) of Florida, with whom Joe lived, Lisa Mitchell (and Jack) of Hanson and Jacqueline O’Donnell (and Michael) of Brockton; loving grandfather of 21; great-grandfather of many; great-great-grandfather of 1; brother of Doris Lennon and the late Mildred, Ethel, Jean, Eleanor and Bill; and an uncle of many.
