James L. Kane, 63, of Brockton, native of Roslindale, died March 11, 2017. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Ferry) Kane. He was co-owner of Junction Tire, Dedham, along with his devoted business partner Jack Shea. A wholehearted and genuine family man, he adored his children and grandchildren. Jimmy loved water skiing, snow mobiling and boating every summer at Marina Bay, Quincy. He enjoyed annual family trips to Martha’s Vineyard and NH. Jimmy cherished his wife Marie and the time they spent together, and loved the delicious meals she prepared. James was the beloved husband of Marie (DiFrummolo) Kane for 40 years; loving father of Joshua Kane and his wife Sherry and Emily Kane, all of Brockton; adoptive father of David MaGee and Crystelle Quinn; dear grandfather of Michael Cuocolo, Joanna Kane and James Kane; brother of Margie Ciccone and her husband Michael of Walpole, Peggy Peyton and her husband John of Norfolk, and the late Anita MaGee, Robert Kane and Doris Ryan; son-in-law of Julia Hilda DiFrummolo, whom he waited on hand and foot, and the late Vincent James DiFrummolo; brother-in-law of Julie Shea of Plymouth and Karen DiFrummolo of CA; and an uncle, cousin and friend of many. Following cremation, all are welcome to calling hours Thursday, March 30th from 4-7:30 p.m., with 7:30 p.m. closing prayers in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Funeral procession to gather on Friday, March 31st at 10 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home for burial at Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
