Gloria J. “Beana” Tammaro, 56, of East Providence, R.I., passed away April 14, 2017. She was a shuttle bus driver for General Dynamics Transport in R.I. Beana had a vibrant personality and was adored by everyone she met. She enjoyed women’s tennis and was an avid Patriots, Red Sox, and Bruins fan. Beana was the beloved daughter of Gloria Cioffi of Hanover; loving sister of Joan Tammaro (and Frank) of Andover, Deborah DePasqua (and Dennis) of Brockton, and David Tammaro (and Faith Machado) of East Bridgewater; aunt of Kristan Collins (and Craig), Joseph Sinkiewicz, Anthony Sinkiewicz (and Elizabeth), Maria Sinkiewicz (and Michael Keane), James Tammaro (and Lisa), and the late Frank Tammaro Jr.; great-aunt of Sage, Colm, Adriana, Tia, Jennifer and Katie. Beana also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins. All are welcome to calling hours Saturday, April 22nd from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. memorial service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
