George "Skip" Webber Obituary

George W. “Skip” Webber, 77, of Avon, died April 10, 2018. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a skilled forklift mechanic, having established Avon Forklift, and later retiring from Caterpillar, Inc. after 25 years of service. He was a close family man, and enjoyed “talking shop”, playing cribbage, and loved spending time with family and friends. Skip was the beloved husband of Ann L. (Bukunt) Webber for 53 wonderful years; loving father of Karin Thompson and her husband Mike of Middleboro, Pamela Parrotte-Garner and her husband Charles Garner of VT, and William Webber and his wife Gina of Falmouth; dear grandfather “Dziadzi” of Samantha and Michael Thompson, Sonny and Ben Parrotte, William, Georgia Ann and Victoria Webber; son of the late Cora and Warren Webber; brother of Warren Webber Jr., Judy, and Sharon; and an uncle of many. All are welcome to attend calling hours Monday 3-7 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, funeral service Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home and burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Avon.
