Elizabeth "Betty" (Bates) Nelson

Elizabeth J. “Betty” (Bates) (Mills) Nelson, 92, of Brockton, passed away February 1, 2018. Betty was the wife of the late George E. Nelson and Francis X. Mills; beloved mother of Peter G. Mills and his wife Patricia of Brockton; loving grandmother of Michelle Sullivan and her husband David of Avon; great-grandmother of Jordan and Riley Sullivan; sister of Yvonne Georgopoulos of Hull, Marjorie Rines of Arkansas, and the late Patricia Buckler; and an aunt of many. Following cremation, all are welcome to her memorial Mass on Saturday, Feb. 10th at 12 noon in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St, Brockton. Private Committal. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Kindred Hospice.
