Eleanor C. (Daniels) Rozenas, 86, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2015 due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Born in Waterbury, CT, a daughter of the late Helen and John, Daniels, she was raised in South Boston and graduated from South Boston High School in 1947. She earned a degree from Burdett College in 1952 and worked at the State House for the Board of Pharmacy. Eleanor met her future husband Balys at a Lithuanian Picnic in Brockton and they wed in 1954. She left the workforce to raise her 3 daughters, and later worked for Franklin Sports in Stoughton for many years until her retirement. Eleanor was a communicant of St. Casimir Church. She enjoyed walking in her neighborhood, reading, crossword puzzles, watching figure skating and family trips. Eleanor was the beloved wife of Balys Rozenas for 61 years; loving mother of Donna Terry of Brockton, Mary Amaral and her husband Joseph of Lincoln, RI and Emily Torpey and her husband Mark of Bridgewater; devoted grandmother of Nicole Terry, Brianna, Samantha and Christopher Torpey and Amanda and Lauren Amaral. The family would like to thank everyone at St. Joseph Manor for their excellent care and compassion. All are welcome to calling hours Saturday from 12-2p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. service in Belcher Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Cremation and private committal.
