Edward B. Krachukoski, 91, of Avon, died March 15, 2017. A 1943 graduate of Brockton High School, he earned a certificate in accounting from Bentley College in 1950. Edward served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He was a bookkeeper for many years at Taunton Lumber Co. and involved in the Avon CETA programs. Ed was a talented musician, playing several instruments.  He enjoyed socializing with his friends at the Senior Center in Avon.  An avid bowler, he was a member of several bowling leagues. Edward was the husband of the late Catherine (Zarkofski) Krachukoski; loving brother of Jennie L. Valeri of Bridgewater, and the late Helen Carvalho, Mary Yucius and Chester Krachukoski; and a loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, N. Cary St., Brockton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed’s name to foster activities at the Avon Senior Center can be made to “Town of Avon, in memory of Ed K.” and sent to Council of Aging, 65 E. Main St., Avon, MA 02322.
