Edna J. (Greaves) Gaquin, 85, of Avon since 1955, passed away peacefully June 6, 2016 just one day shy of her 86th birthday. As well as being a homemaker, Edna had enjoyed modeling and had also been a hairdresser, telephone operator, nanny and waitress and had resided all over the U.S. and in Trinidad, the Bahamas and Germany. Raised in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Ignatius and Adella (Baranauskas) Greaves; wife of the late Donald J. Gaquin; mother of James L. Gaquin; sister of Rita O’Donoghue, Ruth Goulston, Paul Greaves, Raymond Greaves and the late Marie “Jen” Bornstein; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. Per her wishes, all services are private.
