Dorothy C. (Millay) Shea, 81, a lifelong resident of Brockton, passed away January 25, 2018. A 1954 graduate of Brockton High School, she was employed by the telephone company as an operator and later worked as a secretary for Franklin Sports and Atty. Joseph Carnabuci until her retirement. Witty and sociable, she enjoyed the many activities at Emmanuel House and St. Joseph Manor, where she had resided. Dorothy was the beloved sister of Agnes Spadea Prendergast of Brockton and the late Lillian Ippolito, Charles Millay, Marian Lifchitz, Mildred Bergeron, Mary Carpender and Beverly Millay; longtime companion of the late Fred Nesseralla; and a loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to her funeral Mass on Saturday, Feb. 3rd at 9 a.m. in St. Edith Stein Church and burial at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
