Charlotte A. (MacPhail) Marcotte, 81, of Brockton, passed away peacefully Dec. 3, 2017. After raising her children, Charlotte was employed in the Knapp Shoe office for 22 years and then for Garber Brothers for 10 years until retiring. She greatly enjoyed her Scottish heritage. Charlotte was the beloved wife of Donald J. Marcotte for 59 years; loving mother of Scott Marcotte and his wife Anne of Abington and Lori J. Marcotte of Brockton; the twin sister of Donald “Tommy” MacPhail Jr. of Quincy; and the devoted grandmother of Rachel and Grace Marcotte. All are welcome to calling hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. and her funeral service Friday at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton. Burial will be at Gardens at Gethsemane in West Roxbury. Memorial gifts may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
