Barbara R. (Belleville) Pereira, 48, of Avon, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2016. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of Raymonde and the late Roland Belleville. A 1985 graduate of Brockton High School, she was employed as a financial analyst at Computershare for over 25 years. Barbara was an active communicant of St. Michael Church, where she was a lector, religious education teacher and co-chairman of the youth group. She loved her dogs and was active in her son’s sports teams. Barbara was the beloved wife of Scott P. Pereira for 28 years; loving mother of Brandon, Jake and Shawn Pereira of Avon; sister of Claire Belleville of Plymouth, Suzanne Cerrato of Middleboro, Michael Belleville and his wife Donna of Whitman, Donald Belleville and his wife Dolores of South Windsor, CT and Carol Lindblom and her husband Michael of Benton, Maine; daughter-in-law of Joan and the late Robert Pereira; best friend of Sarah Reed of Avon; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews. All are welcome to calling hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Thursday at 9 a.m., funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Avon and burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Avon.
